Meet Faith !

Hi! My name is Faith, and my dream has always been to work with animals. Well, actually, my initial dream was to be a teacher but I found the perfect way to combine both of my passions; to become a Dog Trainer. I’ve been in the pet care world my whole adult life, which I started as a cat sitter. Seeing the different purrsonalities (;)) of all the kitties I got to care for made me fall in love with cats even more than I already had for my awesome kitten, Noelle.

Believe it or not, despite being a dog trainer, I am actually more of a cat lover than a dog lover - I’m just a true couch potato and nothing beats having a small animal laying on you to steal your body heat. Ha!

Don’t get me wrong, my love of dogs is a very close second!! Nothing makes me happier than working with dogs. I give them lots of food rewards and my reward is seeing their progress! If I’m working with dogs privately, seeing the shy pups get excited to see me, or seeing reactive pups gain confidence, being able to pass by triggers without issues, it puts the biggest smile on my face. I also absolutely love, love, love, teaching people about dogs!! It’s wild how much the average person (myself included) doesn’t know about dogs - when I went to school, I was constantly getting surprised at how backwards I had everything I knew up until then. Dog’s only being able to see blue and yellow, having not-the-best vision, being able to smell up to 2 KM’s away, most reactive dogs not being overconfident but actually insecure… and so much more!! It was eye-opening! I had never been so excited to learn before and it was because I was learning about something I truly care about.

Today, I am very proud to be the co-owner of this amazing business Raph and I have created. I find joy in my work everyday, and hope to meet your fur-babies soon whether it’s for sitting, walks or training.

Our Dedicated team

Meet Raph !

Hi, my name is Raph.

For years I worked with exotic birds, from conures to macaws, and my love for animals naturally extended into a lifelong passion for dogs as well. Caring for animals has always sparked something in me that’s hard to describe—it simply feels right. Being around my crew of pets brings warmth to my day, and it feels strange when I’m not surrounded by them.

I began my career in the pet world by earning my certification in dog training. Before moving to BC, I also cared for pets in their homes, where I learned that reading body language is the key to ensuring both safety and trust. Every day I’m amazed by how much dogs can learn and do, and it inspires me to keep growing alongside them.

I look forward to meeting your pets and working with you to provide the best care possible.

Meet Yessi !

Hi, I’m Yessenia! I’m originally from Chile and an ESL teacher by profession, but my lifelong passion has always been animals. Back home, I rescued and cared for three wonderful dogs, which inspired me to complete training and pet well-being courses. My teaching background, along with the training I’ve received from Good Shake, allows me to help your pet thrive, understanding their needs, guiding them with patience, and keeping them enriched and happy. Whether it’s walking, play, or sitting, I treat every pet with the same love and care I give my own

Meet Sierra !

Sierra grew up on Vancouver Island before beginning many years of moving and travel - from the living in the UK, Ottawa, Chile, Banff, and Sri Lanka, but she desperately missed having animals in her life and sought them out whenever possible. She combined her travels with volunteering with dogs, horses, and other animals in Hungary, Turkey, Spain, and more, before finally settling back in BC.

Since then she has continued dog walking and pet sitting and has absolutely loved getting to know so many Sea to Sky furry friends with Good Shake.
